Changes to my Study Programme

Hi, today I will talk about some changes that I would like to have in the career that I study, in mi case, Sociology. Well, one of the things that I like the most about my career in his great versatility. Because of that, I think that would be necessary include more subjects that include topics related with others professions. This happened during my first semester, since I have class of Philosophy, Anthropology, Social Psychology and History. From then, this subject’s start to decrease and now the majority of my classes are about themes related only to Sociology. In the future semester we have electives, but I think that is important include this in the curriculum of the career.

Also, I think that the workload and length of the studies must be deeply revised because in the currently, are in the University many cases of academically stress and even depression, independently of the department or career. That's why I think the workload should be more flexible, and give special instances for students that have scholarships and that would have problems if his studies would spread out.

In the case of infrastructure, I think that would be need the integration of new forms of teaching. These many times only work with one type of students, preventing that the others can learn in accordance with his capabilities. Also, the incursion of technology more interactive would complement this process, getting with this way an education more complete and multidisciplinary, and that facilitate the learning process of the students.
